Der Hamburger Musiker, aufgewachsen zwischen mehreren Kulturen, lebt seit jeher zwischen zwei Welten: der rationalen Welt des Codes und der emotionalen Welt der Musik. Tagsüber arbeitet er als Softwareentwickler und Berater – analytisch, präzise, strukturiert. Doch wenn der Tag endet, beginnt seine zweite Wirklichkeit: die Bühne, der Sound, die Geschichten, die er in Songs verwandelt.

the great dvri. project steht für Vielschichtigkeit – musikalisch und menschlich. Seine Songs lassen sich keinem Genre zuordnen. Sie entstehen intuitiv, ohne Plan, ohne Kalkül.

Er singt über den Weg aus einer migrantischen Arbeiterfamilie hinein in ein akademisches, selbstbestimmtes Leben – über Disziplin, Erschöpfung und das Ringen mit Erwartungen. Über Liebe und Kontrollverlust. Über Selbstoptimierungswahn und Informationsüberflutung. Über Menschen, die funktionieren, statt zu fühlen.
Seine Songs sind keine Produkte – sie sind Räume. Räume für alle, die sich zwischen Identitäten bewegen, die mehr sind als eine Kategorie.

Musikalisch geprägt wurde the great dvri. project von den Größen seiner Jugend: den 90er-Ikonen wie Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Foo Fighters oder Queens of the Stone Age. Ebenso von Legenden wie Johnny Cash, The Doors, Bob Dylan oder Jimi Hendrix – Künstlern, die sich nicht hinter Fassade oder Effekt versteckten, sondern fühlbar waren.

the great dvri. project ist kein Konzeptkünstler, sondern ein Suchender. Einer, der die Gegensätze lebt, statt sie zu verstecken. Zwischen Code und Chaos, Kopf und Herz, Disziplin und Hingabe.

Born into a migrant working-class family, he grew up with love and protection, but also with a message: music isn’t a safe path. So he followed another one – studying, working hard, climbing the ladder in the world of software development. He succeeded. Yet somewhere between deadlines and data, the sound within him never stopped calling.

Today, the great dvri. project stands between two worlds – the rational precision of coding and the emotional honesty of songwriting. His music is impossible to pin down: intuitive, genre-fluid, and deeply human.
Sometimes it’s acoustic, sometimes electric. Sometimes pop, sometimes rock, sometimes something in between. Influenced by the 90s icons he grew up with – Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age – and inspired by legends like Johnny Cash, The Doors, Dylan, and Hendrix, he strives for what they all shared: raw truth.

From being the son of workers to becoming an academic and entrepreneur – a transformation paid for with long nights, exhaustion, and relentless drive. His lyrics deal with the beauty and cost of ambition, the chaos of modern life, and the emotional dissonance of our digital age: love, confusion, self-optimization, information overload, and the constant question of what’s still real.

His bilingual songwriting – in English and German – reflects his inner duality. “I can’t choose,” he says. “Both are part of me. Both give my thoughts different colors.”

On stage, the great dvri. project performs with a tight-knit band.
In small bars, they play intimate acoustic sets; in larger venues, they go full electric – with tube amps roaring and songs unfolding with unfiltered energy. It’s music you feel more than you hear – honest, dynamic, alive.
